The goal of this project was to create an EMG-controlled wrist that only utilized one motor but allowed motion in two directions. The gearing mechanism allows a clutch to engage which cause the motor to control either side-to-side motion or forwards/backwards motion. A custom EMG circuit filtered muscle measurements to control the device.
